There are religious groups such as Christians, that find the furry fandom "evil". Something in their book states that bestiality is wrong. Meaning that us role playing animals is evil. That's their opinion, though I can't see how I'm evil by role playing an animal. There is another term for bestiality, meaning Humans having sex with animals. That's not my department, but if that's what they're referring to I can understand. I'm sure though, that a lot of people that are in the fandom who has a spouse that is also in the fandom, will sometimes pretend to be an animal while having sex. That might be what they're referring to as well, which I don't believe is anyone's business. All and all, there are Christian furs in the fandom. Though most of them isolate themselves from the rest of us for reasons unknown to me.

   There are too many different aspects of the fandom to really make an analysis of it's meaning. What it all comes down to is people who like to see animals talk, and or walk like Humans. There are those like myself that have their own personal furry. A personal furry is an animal being anthropomorphic or non-anthropomorphic that is based upon you. In other words, what you would look like as an animal. An animal that has human features is called "anthropomorphic". Having a personal furry that's based upon you usually means that it also looks like, acts like, talks like, and if so, wears clothing and accessories like you. An example of my character.

   If you wonder why a became furry, it's simple. I love friendly open-minded people and Anthropomorphics. I've always loved cartoons and watching animals walk and talk like Humans. There's just something about it that I've always wished I could be apart of, and being apart of the furry fandom has brought me a bit closer to that you might say. Every person I meet has their own furry character. They can be anything from an Otter, to a Wolf, or a Rat. There are mostly Wolves and Foxes in the fandom. Again, I chose to become a Sable cause it fits me. Sables are rare and unique, like my opinion of my personality.

   My experience with the fandom has been great. Though I'm not going around left and right making freinds with people as much as I used to. Sometimes I believe I have more than I can handle as is, but it's always nice to meet new people once in a while. I've been apart of the fandom since October 16, of 2001, and I'm not planing on departing from it anytime soon.
