Radio Control Kenworth T2000 (How it's Done)

Tractor

Information

This is when I took off the body of the radio control Kenworth T2000 and was adding and securing headlights to the front. What I did was installed a light system using 4 old Christmas lights. It's simple to note that all the green wires in these photos are what I added.

This is me taking the truck apart again for the second time. The body isn't even supposed to rise up like that. It's only because of the black tape in the front. :p Later I moved the RC antenna from the back of the truck, and attached it to the front mirror to blend in like a CB.

A shot of inside.

The truck is finished and has two head lights and a clearance light on it's roof. I also super glued my company logo on both doors.

It also has tail lights on the back. Tail light really. What I did was placed black tape on the left, right and center of the bulb to make it appear as if there were two. Also as you can see, I cut off the plastic mud flaps and put polyester ones on instead.

Radio Control Midroof International 9900ix

Tractor

The International was neat cause they made it easy for you to turn it into a mid-roof truck. The roof still needs to be painted but it's fine for now. It's also another R/C truck, so it has two working angled mirror mount antennas.

The step deck trailer was made from two flatdecks, and the chassies was extended to 53' length. The deck is gold finished, to look somewhat like a polished wood bed.

Radio Control Cherry Vanilla Freightliner Classic XL

Tractor

I went to Toys "R" Us and bought the plain white Freightliner Classic XL. I desided to paint parts of it using red. I also for the first time painted the chassie to match.

Radio Control Skirtless Mack Vision

Tractor

Information

The Mack Vision was the first truck I collected in 1/32 scale, and I finially made it radio controlled. I took off the skirt and added a few stripes along the sides. The 'JD' stands for Jasper Distributors. I added headlights to it as well with blue step lights under both the driver and passenger door.

Green and Gold Freightliner Classic XL

Tractor

Information

This truck was painted to look like the colors of money.

Radio Control Stock Freightliner Columbia Day Cab

Tractor

Information

The Freightliner Columbia Day Cab's chassis was cut shorter to make it into such. I removed the sleeper, gave it horns, an exhaust pipe, working antenna, clearance head, tank fenders; and a new motor.

The truck also has a much tighter turning radius than all my other RC models; which is fun to drive. Here's a photo of the truck with a sleeper.
